Sign & Graphic Installation Technician
Sign & Graphic Installation Technician Sandpiper Signs and Decals Inc. is an established progressive sign company in Coquitlam that is looking for an experienced, self motivated Sign & Graphic Installation Technician. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for supporting production, scheduling customer installs, installing all types of signs including banners, vehicle graphics, large format printing, interior and exterior signs. Your professional, outgoing personality is required to coordinate the workflow of orders with internal stakeholders including sales, production, and accounting. Your attention to detail is critical while managing quality control checks of product prior to installation.
Responsibilities
- Communicates daily with Production Manager regarding new installs
- Manages installation schedule
- Coordinates installs with customers, and contract installers
- Answers all inquiries pertaining to installs
- Assists production with install orders, and on an as-needed basis
- Installs decals, vehicle wraps and signs as required
- Finalizes install work orders for invoicing
- Assists with ordering production supplies
- Assists with machine maintenance
- Assists with packaging completed orders
Qualifications
- Must have 3 – 5 years sign, decal and vinyl wrap installation experience
- Mechanical skills and problem solving ability
- Ability to lift 50 -100 pounds, and operate hand/power tools
- Good communication skills
- Excellent ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive attitude and personality
- Valid B.C. driver’s license
